About Me

“
Because every
person's story is unique,
I tailor therapy to your
individual needs.

”
I integrate evidence-based approaches, mindfulness-based practices, and other therapeutic modalities to create a path that honors your experience while supporting your growth, healing, and emotional well-being.
I'm Vida Yap, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate of EMPS Resilience Therapy, LLC.
EMPS refers to all parts of a person. That is one's emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual self. We collaborate together to build skills for the resilience of each.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families throughout Hawaii and Oregon, offering a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where healing can begin. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work together toward greater hope, healing, and lasting change.
